The Lame family is currently stateside while getting medical care for their son, Luka. Both Gazi and Bethany will continue to lead D3 from Cincinnati, Ohio. Gazi will communicate regularly with Emiljo (staff employee) and the orphanage director to help our partnership with the orphanage remain strong. He will also make visits to Albania and help with summer teams and camps. Bethany works on the administrative side of D3 and helps with donor communications. 

They plan to use their time in the states to strengthen D3 and develop new ministry connections. D3 has a vision to serve youth transitioning out of the orphanage by creating a group home. They are hoping to develop this dream more while in the USA so it can become a reality. 

The Lames hope to return to Albania in 2-3 years once their son is medically stable and will continue serving in full time ministry.
