We are originally from Belarus, where we spent many years serving in church and Christian ministry. Later, we moved to Ukraine for work and stayed longer than planned because of COVID-19.

When the war began, we were living in Ukraine as Belarusians and began to face growing hostility because of our nationality. We were also driving a car with Belarusian license plates, which made us feel even less safe.

Within hours, we realized that staying could put our lives at risk. During those first days, a convoy of cars formed with women and children trying to reach the border, and we joined them and helped accompany the group.

The journey was difficult and uncertain, but along the way we clearly saw God’s protection and guidance. Again and again, doors opened at the right time, help came when we needed it, and God gave us strength for each next step. God then brought us to Germany, where we lived for several years.

At the beginning of 2026, an unexpected door opened for us to come to the United States on a religious visa and serve at Providence Church. The visa process was completed in only a few days. Through every country and every change, God has remained faithful.
