My name is Dubravka Casario, and my story began in Croatia (formerly Yugoslavia). As a student at the University of Zagreb, my life was forever changed through the friendship and witness of Dick and Marj Fisher and Sandy. They shared their lives and the Gospel with me, leading me to Christ. I became deeply involved in their ministry in Zagreb, participating in Bible studies, group events, and leading a ministry to young women.

Life then led me to the United States. I raised three children, who are now grown; one living in Spain, and two in the States. Recently, I experienced the loss of my husband. In this new chapter, living in a community for those over 60, I felt a renewed call to ministry, leading Bible studies and directing amateur theatrical productions for Christmas and Easter. God opened doors, and through simply "loving my neighbors," I witnessed many come to Christ or have their faith deepened.

Now, my heart is turning back to Croatia. I see a deep need there. Many women live in a secular society, untouched by the Gospel. Some may follow religious traditions, but without a true, living faith.

My desire is to be Christ's presence for them. I want to offer the same love and acceptance I received when I first encountered Christ. I envision sharing my life, starting new Bible studies, and introducing the Word of God and Christ into their lives, and to disciple them.

I am bilingual, fluent in both Croatian and English. Can God use me there, even at this stage of my life?

My answer is a resounding, "Here am I! Send me!"
